The new hobby...

Welcome to the blog. My name is Jeff and I am going to make beer. If you have ever wanted a cool hobby, this is definitely one to try. I have been reading up on some great home brewing books including Charles Papazian's Complete Joy Of Homebrewing, and Karl F. Lutzen's  Brew Ware and figured....I can do that. I like beer. I drink it often, and have become quite the taster at the ripe old age of 28. After all, although it may sound like a daunting task, all you really need to make beer is a few key components, most of which are available in convenient pre-packaged kits these days. I will be outlining some of these steps that I take, my personal equipment, ingredients, and encourage you to read a long and enjoy my mishaps, my successes, and also welcome advice! After all, this is a Homebodies Guide to Home Brewing!  Lets get started.
